The problem of Wawa: too many bears makes this area paradise for bear hunters. Our Outfitters guides hunters to successful hunting with rate over 80%, Bears harvested here are often between 350 and 450 lb. 2007 Black Bear Season (Rifles, Shotguns, Archery and Muzzle-loaders, for Residents and non-residents) opens on August 15, 2007 and close on 31 October 2007.
